At Village Mentality Academy, we believe children learn best when they feel known, supported, and inspired. Our school was founded on a simple but powerful idea: it truly takes a village to raise confident, capable, and compassionate learners. As both an educator and a parent, I created this academy to be the kind of place where children are encouraged to think independently, explore their curiosity, and still have the freedom to be kids.
We understand that every child is unique. That’s why our classrooms are intentionally small, allowing teachers to build meaningful relationships with students and tailor instruction to their individual needs. Learning here is hands-on, engaging, and rooted in real-world experiences—not just worksheets and test preparation. We focus on building strong academic foundations while also nurturing character, creativity, and a genuine love for learning.
Village Mentality Academy is more than a school—it’s a community. We partner closely with families to create a supportive environment where children feel safe to grow, make mistakes, and discover their strengths. Our goal is to help each student leave our classrooms not only academically prepared, but confident in who they are and excited about their future.

What is a Private Microschool?
A private microschool is a small, relationship-centered school designed to provide students with a more personalized learning experience in a supportive, structured environment.
At Village Mentality Academy, we are a private school, which means parents do not need to register their child as a homeschool student. We handle instruction, curriculum, and school records—just like a traditional private school.
What makes a microschool different is its size and focus on connection.
